Long story short
Debbie Montague is the owner of ETC EVENTS and has been involved in Wedding and Event Planning for 15 years in KZN and around the Country. She is passionate about Weddings and says there is nothing quite like a Stress-free, Glowing Bride ! she herself has been married for 14 years and has 2 boys aged 11 and 7 who keep her on her toes!
Debbie says: “With a background in both Advertising and Marketing, Events were part of my portfolio, but when the Rugby World Cup 1995 came around, I had realised that Events were my passion. Weddings happened by accident when my best friend asked me to help her plan her Wedding in South Africa, as she was based in the UK and was only able to get 2 weeks leave to come out to South Africa and get married.
Since then I have planned hundreds of Weddings, each one so very different and beautiful in their own way. I absolutely cherish the honour of being able to work closely with my Brides to create the Wedding of their dreams. We have worked with Brides from as close as down the road to New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Dubai and from weddings of 6 people to weddings of 250 people. Email and skype are our friends and we are in constant communication with our brides, making sure that every single aspect of their Wedding is perfect and exactly what they want.
With over 15 years of planning Weddings I do feel that the experience that I have adds value to my Brides and save both time and money, not to mention the unnecessary stress that everyone seems to think just goes hand in hand with planning Weddings.
I am very proud of the fact that my Bridal couples are extremely relaxed and stressfree both during the planning process and on their Wedding Day !
